Some general observations about Hong Kong so far: On the street level you can never escape this soft beeping and then trilling that are the crosswalk alerts. They are constant. Also, subways are awesome. I really wish America used them more. And finally, the irritation we Americans have with cars going slow in the fast lane still applies here, just with people instead of cars.
